Location and directions

The Ffynnone Arms is on the B4332 in the village of Newchapel roughly a mile to the east of Boncath.

Directions

From Cardigan: At the highest roundabout above Cardigan to the south of the town on the by-pass take the first exit towards Narberth/Tenby on the A478. After about 3 miles watch on your left for the signpost to Boncath.  Take it and when you get to the T-junction in Boncath turn left onto the B4332.  Enter Newchapel and find the Ffynnone Arms on your left.  Access to the car park is before the inn on your left and then right behind the inn.

From Fishguard: Take the A487 north towards Cardigan.  As you drive into Eglwyswrw take the right turn onto the B4332 signposted Cenarth and stay on that road. Slight dogleg – right then left – as you cross the A478 Cardigan-Tenby road.  Drive through Boncath and just over 1 mile on you will enter Newchapel.  The Ffynnone Arms is on your left.  Access to the car park is before the inn on your left and then right behind the inn.

From Haverfordwest: Take the B4329 from the northern-most roundabout of the town.  This road will take you on a beautiful run over the Preselis.  When you come to the T junction onto the main A487 by Brian Llewellyn’s garage turn right into Eglwyswrw and follow the directions above as though you’ve travelled from Fishguard.

From Tenby/Narberth: Take the A478 northwards.  After Blaenffos take the next right signposted Boncath.  At the T junction on the outskirts of Boncath turn right and follow – the B4332 – road into Newchapel.  Inn on the left.

From Newcastle Emlyn: Take the A475 west towards Cardigan. In Cenarth take the B4332 left just before the bridge over the falls.  Stay on the road through Abercych until you enter Newchapel and the Ffynnone Arms will be on your right towards the end of the village.
