The real ale is locally supplied – at the moment the Rockhopper 3.9% from the new Bluestone Brewery near Newport, Pembrokeshire is on trial. Hedydd also features guest beers, from such as the Welsh Kite Brewery in Crosshands or Brecon Brewing in Powys and some noted ales from further afield such as Abbot ale, Young’s Special from Wells & Young’s and Hobgoblin from Wychwood. They tend to be very popular so are not on for long. Take advantage when you see one.
